Build the skill before the city.

Wamkelekile eWillowvale. Siza kuqala ngolutsha, iTVET, noluntu — ngaphambi kokuba isixeko sakhiwe.

NextSmartCity starts with the people who live at Willowvale. TVET partners help them learn drone flying, virtual design, and local trade. Those same people are the ones who later take part in the infrastructure. Buyers can sit a drone showing the way they sit a film, ask for the camera to move, and — on one demonstration section — bid for a reservation file. The bid is not a deed.

Willowvale

Wamkelekile eWillowvale. Siza kuqala ngolutsha noluntu — ngaphambi kokuba isixeko sakhiwe.

First ground. A rural smart-community method aligned with the Amathole 2058 vision: upskill the people who live here, with TVET partners, so the same community can take part when infrastructure is actually built. Drought and the water backlog are part of the brief. Communal land does not move without a social contract with traditional leadership.

Ayithengiswa. Yindawo yokuqeqesha.

The same method, rehearsed for a crew that is not all on site. Remote directing, virtual habitat design, and a youth pilot in command. Nothing here is for sale and nothing here is title.

Mars

Kude. Umthetho usafana: abantu bafunda izakhono kuqala.

A longer delay, the same rule. The people who will live with the infrastructure learn the tools first. This horizon is a studio and a conversation. It is not a plot register.

Willowvale sections

Five demonstration sections. Heritage Kop stays with traditional leadership. The south pad is the first layer you can bid on.

The introduction

Five short scenes, then the full film. Landscape for a hall. Portrait for a phone.

Drought, the water backlog, communal tenure, and ecological care are part of the brief — aligned with the Amathole 2058 vision, not pasted over it. A social contract with traditional leadership is a prerequisite.
